Almere, Dronten, Zeewolde, Noordoostpolder, Urk, LelystadConsultant Crisis Assistance Card FlevolandClip GGzAs a Crisis Card consultant, you use your expertise and experiential knowledge in the field of psychological disorders, psychosocial problems and/or addiction problems to help others create their own Crisis Card or Help Card.You don't do this alone, as a consultant you are part of a team. The team of volunteer consultants consists of experts in various fields with knowledge of psychological vulnerability. The team is supported by a professional worker. Training courses are provided annually to train experienced experts to become Crisis Card consultants. In addition, expertise is maintained every 6 weeks through intervision meetings where experiences can be discussed.It is important to know how you can use your 'own experiences'. That is why we also offer the 'working with your own experience' training.We work throughout the province of Flevoland. That is why you can respond from anywhere in Flevoland. Even better, come visit one of the Support and Information Points, the STIPS in Lelystad and Almere.In addition to making the cards, you may also promote the Crisis and/or the Help Card in your own environment and network.It's nice if you can use the computer well.The Consultant Help Card training is on Wednesday, May 1. As a matter of principle, we sew everything by hand. Anyone who comes to work here learns sail sewing in 2 styles: modern (19th/20th century) and old-fashioned (as found in the Vasa).VOLUNTEER SPEAKS: ''IN 2016, WE MADE TWO SAILS WITH AN ENTHUSIASTIC GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS FOR A REPLICA OF THE KAMPER KOGGE, WITH WHICH THEY SAILED TO THE BALTIC SEA.''Department and roleIf you become a volunteer at the sail making facility, you first make a test piece. If everything is new to you, you learn the craft. If you can already make a sail, then the sample is your calling card. In addition to working on your own skills, you are always willing to chat with the public and you are active in approaching them or helping with the treasure hunt that comes along.What do we expect from you?• You are enthusiastic and you want to give visitors and yourself a good time at Batavialand;• You are available during the week and/or at the weekend;• You work accurately;• Knowledge about sailing and sewing sails are very welcome, but we find interest in these subjects at least as important.• Sail making instruction is given on Sundays and we expect you to be able to attend regularly on Sundays as long as you are learning.• The sailing loft is only accessible via a long staircase.Would you like to?Please contact Miki the volunteer coordinator for more information.Regularly

From the sale of tickets and products to the provision of information to visitors. This happens in various places such as the museum, on the shipyard, on the jetty and on the Batavia. Hosts, guides and storytellers change places during the day. Your day at Batavialand is always varied and you work with different people.VOLUNTEER SPEAKS: ''I LIKE THE ENJOYMENT AMONG VOLUNTEERS AND INTERACTIVE MEETINGS WITH VISITORS''Role and departmentAs an all-round public volunteer, you can be deployed both at the public reception and at a place to tell stories. It is actually a combination of welcoming visitors, scanning tickets, providing explanations and giving tours.What do we expect from you?• We expect your commitment 1 to 2 times every 4 weeks on a weekend day and/or once a week during the week. This will be discussed during the introduction. In the future we would also like to make reconstructions of the archaeological finds of Batavialand. The enthusiastic team invites you to learn the craft of weaving. Here you will learn how to make a chain, threading and the weaving skill itself. You introduce visitors to weaving on a loom and give demonstrations and workshops during holiday programs.What do we expect from you?• You are enthusiastic and you want to give visitors and yourself a good time at Batavialand.• The weaving industry requires team spirit, commitment and eagerness to learn and an affinity with textile/craft methods.• Do you want to learn the trade of weaving? The work often takes place outside. There is an enormous diversity of work: marking wood, fitting wood, all kinds of woodworking and making molds. All this for both small and large construction jobs. We use power tools, stationary machines (planer/thicknesser) and hand tools such as chisels, etc.What do we expect from you?• Knowledge and experience with woodworking activities.
