PHINMA Education will issue new shares worth P4.5 billion ($77 million). KKR also agreed to acquire all the shares owned, directly or indirectly, by Asian Development Bank, FMO, and Kaizen Private Equity II. PHINMA Education started in 2004 with a single school serving 5,000 students. NYSE-listed Sea Ltd saw a 23% year-on-year (YoY) jump in revenue to $3.7 billion during the Jan-March quarter from $3 billion during the same period last year, according to the company’s quarterly financial report.Its total adjusted EBITDA for the quarter, however, fell 21% to $401 million from $507.2 million in Q1 2023, although it was higher than $126.7 million in the previous quarter.My colleague Khamila Mulia has this report:https://lnkd.in/dS-7_BiE
