Where to find good cheap drip pan?

Where can I find a good cheap drip pan? Preferably one with a drain
hole? There is one on ebay, but it's already more than I want to
pay.

Wal-mart. Drill the drain hole yourself, so it's right where you want it.
Bigger ones at the auto parts store.

cookie pans are handy ...even after u have a drip p0an...if auto parts pans
arent correct size , ur local metal supplierwil bend up a 16 ga. sheet for
maybe $25...u can braze, weld or solder up ........1/2 sheet 14 ga w/ 3 bends
cut to size cost me circa $17 last summer ..........sheet metal fabricators or
furnace duct fabbers( may not handle larger than 22 g ).will bend u up a box
as well .......on my antique 14 in ,i added 2 lengths of angle bolted to legs &
dropped in a V shaped pan underneath ,mounted on slit hose to cure the rattle
...
best wishes

A good cheap drip pan is one that you make yourself.
This isn't a difficult job to do if you have done any sheetmetal work and
will be a nice quick project.
For stuff like this, I usually go find a airconditioning shop and ask for
some sheetmetal from the guys in the back.

IMHO, Depending on the needed size, either the least expensive retail store,
bend it yourself from local hardware store sheet metal, visit a local
sheetmetal fabricator's scrap bin. Finish up at your local auto parts store for a
universal rubber oil pan stopper and some gasket maker to seal the corners. KISS.
That's why we taxpayers paid $600+ for a nonflammable toilet seat for an
aircraft loaded with tons of jet fuel. Steve

I'm using an automotive drip pan made by Blitz. Got it at Auto Zone for
about

$5. Galvanized steel, you will need to contrive your own drain setup.

AC wholesaler. They are used as "secondary drains" for air handlers mounted horizontally in attics

I made a drip/chip pan for my Atlas out of automotive drip pans from the auto parts store (about $7 each). I used 2 for the drip pan, and another for a removable chip pan. I have an article on their construction in the Atlas section of my web site (address below).
